  • Where are based?
    We are based out of San Jose, CA serving The Bay Area. locations within 30miles of San Jose, anything outside of this will result in a travel fee, depending on location. For Outdoor public spaces we cannot guarantee an exact location although we will do our best to get access to your booked location. If we cannot get access due to some big event or road closure or any county policy restrictions, then we will help you to set up the picnic in another suitable location nearby. All local rules, signs, laws, and other permissions apply. We cannot get guarantee of privacy at public spaces, but we will try out best to setup at your given location if chosen mostly. We do indoor/outdoor set up. If you'd like something more private, we can deliver and set up in the comfort of your own home, whether it be in the backyard or inside! If you need some recommendations of beautiful outdoor locations in the surrounding areas, let us know! Be Sure Clean & Clear up Your Private Place Prior to our Arrivals for setup, we don’t move any furniture.
  • What is the Payment Procedure?
    Once the details of your picnic have been decided, we will send you an invoice to your email. A 50% nonrefundable retainer fee will be due within 24 hours. We will hold your date up to 24 hours, but if we do not receive the retainer fee in 24 hours, we will cancel your picnic entirely. Payments can be made through E-transfer/Checks/Cash. 7 days before your picnic we will send you an invoice for any remaining balance. All payments must be received before 48 hours of your picnic. All payments are non-refundable as we have held your date and turned down other picnics. 15% OF SERVICE CHARGES TO ALL PACKAGES. (NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-RETURNABLE)
  • What if we are late or might not show up?
    We will stay there until you arrive to the location, but keep in mind this will extend into the allotted time for your picnic. Extra time may be available to add on for a charge. We ask if you need to leave early for any reason at all, please give us a call and stay until we arrive to the location so that our items will not be left unattended. Your picnic shall not be left unattended at any time during the duration of your event to avoid stolen or damaged items.
  • Is there any deposit policy?
    There is a $100 refundable damage deposit attached to your invoice in case of damaged or lost items. You are responsible for the picnic set up and its entirety during the duration of your picnic. The damage deposit will be refunded no later than 48 hours after your picnic, granted there are no lost or damaged items and no professional cleaning required on any of the equipment. If the damages to items surpass the damage deposit, you will be charged full cost of said items.
  • Is Alcohol Included in the Package?
    ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor does not serve alcohol. The consumption of alcohol in public spaces is still prohibited with the acceptation of a few locations. If you wish to consume alcohol in a private setting, ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption, injuries sustained, or fines incurred.
  • What is the Cancellation Policy?
    Life happens, am I right? If you wish to cancel your picnic entirely, please note that all fees paid are non-refundable. If you wish to reschedule your picnic instead, you have up to 7 days before the date of your picnic to reschedule. 6 days or less may result in a rescheduling fee. The date of your new picnic must be rescheduled within 2 months of the date of your original picnic (Our availability) If you do not wish to reschedule, we can cancel your picnic entirely, no refunds.
  • Food?
    While ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor does not provide food. We are Trying to have teamed up with a local snack box company to provide these as an Add-On. As always, you are more than welcome to bring your own food to the picnic! If You want us to Pick up Your Food Extra Cost will be added for. Pickup.
  • What happens if there in a bad weather at the time of picnic?
    While we know the weather can have a mind of its own and not cooperate sometimes, if you have booked an outdoor picnic with us and don't have a backup undercover or indoor option where the event can continue as planned, we allow you to reschedule up to 7 days before the date of your picnic. Rescheduling 6 days or less before your picnic will result in a rescheduling fee. Rescheduling must be a date within 2 months of your original picnic. Any fees paid will be transferred towards the new date of your event! We are not responsible for the weather changes. Don't Worry we can give you options (to move to indoor) but if you still want it and if the weather gets bad, we are not responsible. During any circumstances, if the picnic items get damaged and/or missed and/or stolen then it's your responsibility to pay for our loss. We strongly advise each guest has a confirmed back up indoor/covered location in the case of weather changes. Always Check Weather prior to booking.
  • COVID-19 Safety Protocol?
    ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor is here to ensure you a safe picnic experience. We take the safety of our clients very seriously. All items are deep cleaned and sanitized after each use, and hand sanitizer will be provided. We will be wearing masks during set up/take down as well as gloves and sanitizer! ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor will be following all Provincial guidelines.
  • Damage and Loss?
    Any damage or loss of any picnic item or equipment client is liable for it and must pay cost of it. If you get any damage item prior to start of the picnic then please let us know immediately, and we will do our best to fix it. If we cannot fix it, we will replace it. Failure to do so, client will be liable for damage item.
Release Of Liability
Using the services provided by ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor, you and your party agree that ZJN Luxury Picnics & Décor and its employees, cannot be held liable for any injury, illness, death and/or damage to or loss of property resulting from you or your party's use of our services. You acknowledge that you and your party's use of our services involve inherent risks of injury, illness, death and/or damage to or loss of property, that you and your party's participation is entirely voluntary and that you and your party elect to assume all such risk and use the services provided by ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor, You and your party, along with your respective heirs, administrators, personal representatives, executors, successors, and assigns agree to waive any right to bring legal action against ZJN Luxury Picnics & Décor and its employees for personal injury, illness, death, and/or personal property damage/loss sustained while engaging in our events or using our services. If you or your party should require medical attention while using our services or participating in one of our events you and your party also agree to be financially responsible for the costs of that treatment. Please follow the city laws on alcohol/drug use in public spaces or parks. You and your party agree to all terms and conditions Prior upon booking/paying for the picnic. ZJN Luxury Picnics & Decor is not Liable to any property or any person.
